Job Requirements:

  • A native English speaker with strong Malaysian language skills (able to communicate with vendors in Malay.)
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
  • A passion for Malaysia and its rich culture.
  • Extensive knowledge on travelling around Malaysia (restaurant/experience/location recommendations, JR Pass limitations, farm stay experiences, etc).
  • Able to work independently and as a team, in an international environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple customers at once.
  • Able to communicate with customers in a warm and professional style, both verbal and written.
  • A willingness to work flexibly, for example on weekends when customers are here.
